4.4 Contact output settings
The following function can be assigned to the contact output.
The contact output has expected lifetime of around 1 million counts. This may vary depending on
contact mA or load capacity.
S1/S2 : Alarm, Maintenance, Auto wash/cal status, mA Range1, mA Range2, mA
Range3, Fail, Simulate, O
S3 : S1/S2 + Wash (in addition to S1/S2, Wash is available for FC800D solenoid
valve for wash/calibration)
S4: Alarm, Fail, Simulate, Fail safe
When a serious fail is detected, S4 employs Fail safe regardless of the function conguration.
The following table shows contact status when the power is On/O.

4.4.1 Alarm
Alarm monitors High/Low limit and on/o control. You can congure process parameters, Set
point, direction, Hysteresis, Delay time.
l Process parameter slot
Read 4.3.1 Output l Process parameter slot.
l Process parameter
Set process parameter for Alarm. Select parameters for alarm from the following list.
TB: Turbidity
FC : Residual Chlorine Concentration, Temperature
PH: pH, Temperature
SC: Conductivity, Temperature
Set suitable parameters to use sensors in need. If you fail to choose parameters, a conguration
fails.
