4.5.3 Other setting on the converter display
l Auto Return
The converter reverts to the Monitor screen (if Monitor screen is set to “O”, reverts to Main
screen), when there is no touch operation during the set time interval.
You can select the interval to implement Auto Return among “Disable”, “10 min”, “60 min”. If you
want to disable this function, select “Disable”.
NOTE
The auto return does not work while a calibration is in progress, Trend is being displayed or the
settings have not been completed yet.
NOTE
The default of Auto return is 10 min. If you expect to have a time-consuming operation such as
calibration, “60 min” or “Disable” is recommended. However, if you do not save the data after
changing the setting, auto return is not activated.
l Backlight saver
To keep LED life longer, you can set it to turn o backlight automatically. When there is no touch
operation for a set interval, the backlight will be o.
Select backlight saver “Disable”, “10 min”, “30 min.” “60 min.”. When backlight is o, once you
touch the screen, the backlight will be turned on. Backlight will not go o automatically in the
following cases.
• An error is being occurred.
• While Backlight ash is being activated
l MONITOR Display
Set automatic screen shifting to Monitor screen. Select “O” “On”. Factory default is “On”. Monitor
screen does not come out when a fail happens, Hold is on, or Wash is in progress.
When this setting is “On”, the screen auto-returns to Monitor screen.
l Alarm notication screen ash
You can select whether the screen falshes (On) or not (O) when an error occurs. Default is ON.
If you select OFF, no ashing happens at an error occurrence.
l Backlight ash
Other network devices (MODBUS) enables the converter’s backlight ash (0.5 sec. interval),
which helps you to nd a converter on line to the network device, when you use multiple
converter unit.
To enable this Backlight ash, set “Backlight ash” to “On”, which is “On” by default. Also set
“Backlight ash behavior” to “5 sec.” or “continue forever”. “continue forever” keeps ashing on
until you change the setting.
