6 Installing the S-box
6.1 Preparing to fasten the S-box
Tip:
The S-box is already mounted on the cutter with 120 mm clearance.
With older cutters, it is possible that the press-in nuts for the S-box have not yet been prepared at the
factory. The following activities are necessary in order to use them at a later date:
A Turn off the cutter.
B Open the electronics unit.
C Remove the boards and cables in the area where the holes are to be drilled.
D Draw the three holes on the rear side of the electronics unit and carefully drill them.
E Use a vacuum cleaner to vacuum up the drilling chips and clean the electronics unit carefully.
