3.6.2. Pole position in sideways direction of the bus
The minimum distance is 35.43 Inch and the maximum 70.87 Inch between side of the pole
and street curb. Be aware this is in case the road is flat and doesn’t have an angle in the
sideway direction of the bus, else the minimum and maximum distance need to be re-
calculated.
Kneeling of the bus will cause a displacement of the rails on top of the bus of about 7.87 Inch,
talking 3.5⁰ angle into account with a the height of the bus 129.13 Inch. This should also be
taken into account when determining the minimum or maximum distance between pole and
bus.
