weighs 150 kg. All lifting accessories used
must be sized accordingly.

Remove surplus grease and other contamin-
ation from the axis-2 and axis-3 shaft ends
as well as around the lock nuts, on both ends.

Remove the lock nut that secure the shaft,
on one of the sides.
Note
DO NOT remove the lock nut at this point!
Only release the torque.

Open and remove the lock nut on the other
side.

Continue the removal on this side until the
shaft is removed completely. Leave the other
lock nut and shaft as they are, for now.

Remove the magnetic plug and wipe hole and
shaft end meticulously clean.

Attach the glycerine adapter.
Note
Tighten the glycerine adapter very hard in
order to avoid leakage.

Remove the small VK-cover.9
3HAC038174-031 Horseshoe shim, 2.5
mm
Attach a horseshoe shim (2.5 mm) between
upper and lower arm, on the same side as
the shaft being removed.
