Scotch-brite abrasive cleaning hand padUse Scotch-brite abrasive cleaning hand pad
and rub the contact surfaces on following
parts:
• shaft
• bushing
• outer ring of bearing
• sealing ring

IsopropanolWipe the surfaces of the following parts
clean, using Isopropanol:
• shaft
• bushing
• bearing
• sealing ring
Note
DO NOT touch the cleaned surfaces with
hands or anything else that may contaminate
them.

Inspect the sealing ring. Replace if damaged.5
Fit the radial sealings in the upper arm.
Note
Do not put grease on the sealing rings.

Fill the bearings with bearing grease using
the grease filling tool.

CAUTION
The upper arm (excluding the tilthouse unit)
weighs 150 kg. All lifting equipment used
must be sized accordingly.
