15. Flash Memory
15.1 Overview
15.1.1 Description
MC96F6432 incorporates flash memory to which a program can be written, erased, and overwritten while
mounted on the board. The flash memory can be read by ‘MOVC’ instruction and it can be programmed in OCD,
serial ISP mode or user program mode.
• Flash Size : 32kbytes
• Single power supply program and erase
• Command interface for fast program and erase operation
• Up to 100,000 program/erase cycles at typical voltage and temperature for flash memory
NOTE) The RXE0/1 bit of USI0CR2/USI1CR2 register should be disabled before flash memory erase and
write start.
