2.3.2 Sweep Source Mode

When the output status is set to Suspend or Standby, sweep cannot be executed.
The currently set function is used as source function of the sweep mode.
The start, stop, step and bias values can be set to values in different ranges respectively, however the opti-
mum range that can output any of these values is fixed when sweep is executed.
2.3.2.2.1 Executing Hold Sweep
This section describes the procedures with the following settings:
• Source function: voltage
• Sweep start value: 0.001 mV
• Sweep stop value: 0.1 mV
• Sweep step value: 0.001 mV
• Sweep bias value: 0 mV
1. Press PRGM MODE twice on the HOME screen to set the sweep source mode.
The bias value of the currently set source function appears.
If the program mode is switched in Operate status, the output status will become
Standby.
Example using the 6156
2. Press SCAN MODE several times to set the hold sweep mode.
In this example, the hold sweep mode has been already set.
When the hold sweep mode is set, "HoLd" is displayed for about a second.
3. Press OPR to set the output status to Operate.
The sweep cannot be started in the output status other than Operate.
