the machine is 15.2 mm toward the white plate from the scanner HP. This SP setting
specifies the offset from this base value.

Adjusts the length of the white plate scan, in the main scan direction. The scan begins at
the start
position set above [in SP 4015 1] and extends for the specified length. The base
value stored in the machine is 4.76 mm. This SP setting specifies the offset from this base
value.
