Coplanar parallelism measurements consist of two straightness
measurements along each axis of the machine. In the first axis
measurement, the software automatically calculates and removes the
slope of the first axis (giving the first axis zero slope). The software then
removes the same amount of slope from the second axis measurement.
Any slope remaining in the second axis is the amount by which the two
axes are out of parallelism.
