8. Peel off the diaphragm using forceps.
9. Align the new diaphragm over the mounting posts so that the valve dia-
phragm channel is oriented toward the shiny valve face.
10. Install the valve head using the center mounting screw.
11. Reinstall the carrier gas inlet line and sample loop.
12. Place the valve box over the assembly, and tighten the two thumb screws.
13. Check for leaks. See “Leak testing the split/splitless inlet” on page 128, or
“Leak testing a purged packed inlet” on page 144, or refer to your G2629A
