Maintaining a flame ionization detector (FID)
Warning Flame ionization detectors use hydrogen gas as fuel. If hydrogen flow is on and
no column is connected to the detector inlet fitting, hydrogen gas can flow into
the oven and create an explosion hazard. Detector fittings must have either a
column or a cap connected at all times.

maximum gas flows.
