3 Operating in Electron Impact (EI) Mode

To Set the MS Analyzer Temperature

The GC/MS interface, ion source, and the MS quadrupole

heated zones interact. The analyzer heater may not be able to

accurately control temperature if the setpoint for one zone is

much different from that of an adjacent zone.

WARNING

The software will not allow you to exceed 200 °C for the quadrupole

or 350 °C for the ion source.
