To Open the Analyzer Cover for Access to the Analyzer Sideplate

Open the analyzer cover (Figure 20) to access the analyzer

sideplate only. This is necessary during pump down or to access

the analyzer sideplate thumbscrews. You should not open the

analyzer cover for any other reason.

Procedure

1 Remove the upper RIS cover to expose the analyzer cover

latches. See “To Remove the Upper RIS Cover” on page 64.

2 Open the latches on the analyzer cover at the front of the

instrument.

3 Swing the analyzer cover open.


