AMPS/136 Mobile Measurements
Measuring Adjacent Channel Power
This measurement can only be performed with the mobile on a digital traffic channel.
1. Establish a call with the mobile on a digital traffic channel.
2. Press the Measurement selection key.
3. Select the Adjacent Channel Power measurement.
4. Press the Adjacent Chan Power Setup (
F1) key.
5. Set the measurement parameters as needed for your measurement situation,
including: Multi-Measurement Count = 10 (not required, but used in this
example)
Typical adjacent channel power results when using multi-measurements are shown
above.
