Measuring Waveform Quality
Each waveform quality measurement returns a number of measurements which
includes rho.
1. Select the Waveform Quality/Code Domain measurement (see “B. Select
measurements.” on page 48). A typical display is shown below.
2. Set up the measurement parameters as needed for your measurement situation
(see “B. Set up the measurement.” on page 50.
Numeric rho is the screen currently displayed. In addition to rho, it also provides the
following measurements, calculated from the same data:
• Time Error
• Carrier Feedthrough
• Phase Error
• Magnitude Error
• EVM
There are graphical measurement results available as a result of performing this
measurement. See “Measuring Code Domain Power and Code Domain Power + Noise”
on page 79.
