General Troubleshooting Guide
• If none of the above steps occur:
• Ensure +5 V is present by observing the rotation of stirrer magnet.
• Ensure +12 V is present by observing the rotation of ventilation fans
in the baseplate.
Autosampler Problems
Please contact your local Agilent service representative.
RI Problems
• Fails to autozero correctly
• Purge the RI thoroughly.
• Check the purge column is not blocked (if fitted), by observing a
significant decrease in system pressure when the purge valve opens.
• Low sensitivity
• Clean the RI cell thoroughly (for example sonicate in 10 % nitric acid).
