Testing Oven Door Interlock
Testing Oven Door Interlock
A safety interlock switch is fitted to the outer oven door to disable the heaters
if the door is opened while the instrument is running.
1 Set the instrument to IDLE or RUN mode.
2 Open the outer oven door.
An audible alarm should sound immediately and an error notification
should be displayed by the Control software.
This concludes the oven door interlock test.
If the alarm condition does not occur then switch off and disconnect the power cords from
both units. Contact your local Agilent Service Department for assistance.
