16 In the navigation tree, right-click on VLAN Service and choose Create VLAN Site.
The Select Network Elements - VLAN Service form opens.
17 Choose a site and click on the OK button. The Select Network Elements - VLAN
Service form closes and the VLAN Site (Create) form opens with the site
information displayed on the General tab.
18 Configure the parameters:
• Description
• Administrative State
• Monitor Access Interface Operational State
19 Click on the OK button. The VLAN Site (Create) form closes and a dialog box
appears.
20 Click on the OK button. The VLAN Site (Create) form reappears with the new site
information displayed in the service navigation tree.
21 If the VLAN service is for an ERPS tail node and the node requires a radio
termination port or an Ethernet termination port for the site:
i Click on the Service Termination Point tab.
ii Click on the Select button to choose an ERPS tail terminating port. The Select
Tail Terminating Port form opens.
iii Select an ERPS tail terminating port and click on the OK button. The VLAN
(Create) form reappears.
22 Click on the OK button to close the VLAN Site (Create) form.
Note — The service navigation tree is auto-populated with sites that
correspond to the hops in the specified VLAN Path.
Note — During the creation of VLAN services, intermediate sites are
automatically added to the service topology view.
