Router Interface DHCP Relay Agent Commands

Syntax dhcp
Context config>router>interface
Description This command enables the context to configure DHCP Relay Agent parameters.
gi-address
Syntax gi-address ip-address [src-ip-addr]
no gi-address
Context config>router>if>dhcp
Description This command configures the gateway interface address for the DHCP Relay Agent. By default, the
GIADDR used in the relayed DHCP packet is the primary address of an interface.
Default no gi-address
Parameters ip-address — the IP address of the gateway interface in dotted-decimal notation
Values a.b.c.d (host bits must be 0)
src-ip-addr — specifies that the GIADDR is to be used as the source IP address for DHCP relay
packets
option
Syntax [no] option
Context config>router>if>dhcp
Description This command enables DHCP Option 82 (Relay Agent Information Option) parameters processing and
enters the context for configuring Option 82 suboptions.
The no form of this command returns the system to the default.
