This section describes VRRP configuration caveats.
General
• creating and applying VRRP policies are optional
• backup command:
→ the virtual backup IP address(es) must be on the same subnet. The backup
addresses explicitly define which IP addresses are in the VRRP message IP
address list.
→ in owner mode, the backup IP address must be identical to one of the interface IP
addresses
