Power down. Is line
voltage within
specification on the
machine’s terminal
block?
Does the error only
happen at the start
of a spin cycle?
Yes
Contact a qualified
electrician to
correct the problem.
No
Does the incoming
voltage have a high
or stinger leg?
No
Replace motor.
Yes
Move high leg or
stinger leg to the L3
terminal on the
machines terminal
block.
Yes
If problem persists,
replace inverter
control board.
No
If problem persists,
contact a qualified
electrician to
correct the problem.
Also remove the 3rd
or high leg from the
service connection
and cap it.
