Power down machine for a minimum of two minutes and disconnect the motor harness from the drive.
(A)
Check the motor
windings. Is
continuity uniform
between L1 and L2
(Black to White), L2
and L3 (White to
Red), and L1 and L3
(Black to Red)?
(B)
Check the motor phase
to ground checks.
Yes
Replace motor.
No
Is there continuity
from L1 to ground
(Black wire to
Green/Yellow wire)?
Is there continuity
from L2 to ground
(White wire to
Green/Yellow wire)?
Yes
If problem persists,
replace inverter
control board.
No
Is there continuity
from L3 to ground
(Red wire to
Green/Yellow wire)?
Yes
If problem persists,
replace inverter
control board.
No
Check the drain and
fill valves. Are they
functioning correctly
with no leaks?
Yes
If problem persists,
replace inverter
control board.
No
Replace motor.
Yes
Repair or replace bad
valve.
No
