Save Configuration
Saves the current analyzer configuration parameters to a file that
can be used later to restore analyzer settings. See “Saving Analyzer
Configuration Parameters” in this chapter.
Restore Configuration
Retrieves previously saved analyzer configuration parameters
from a “.dev” file on the computer. See “Restoring Analyzer Con-
figuration Parameters” in this chapter.
Device Enabled
Checked (default) Allows communication with the analyzer,
and allows you to set up system configura-
tions.
Not Checked Device communication is disabled.
Live Data
Checked (default) Software uses live data from the analyzer.
Not Checked Software uses demonstration data.
Status
Displays the status of the analyzer (device) you are communicating
with. See “Configurator Software Troubleshooting” in this chapter for
information about how to correct the problem.
“OFFLINE” The PC is not communicating with the ana-
lyzer (Device Enabled and/or Live Data not
selected).
“Online” The PC is communicating with the analyzer
(Device Enabled and Live Data selected).
“DISABLED” The PC is connected to the analyzer but is
not communicating with it (Device Enabled
and Live Data not selected).
“Device Not Found” The analyzer’s serial port configurations do
not match the computer’s.
“DEMO Online” The PC is not connected to the analyzer (or
Device Enabled is selected and Live Data is
not selected).
Configurator Software version
Displays the version of the Configurator Software (below Status).
