Interference Compensation
Interference Gas #1 and #2
The analyzer can statically compensate the concentration measure-
ment from the sensor for up to two interfering gases in the sample
stream.
% in Process Gas Stream
The concentration in % of the interfering gas, Gas #1 or Gas #2, in
the sample stream.
Compensation Factor
The factor, corresponding interfering gas, Gas #1 or Gas #2, used
in the interference compensation calculation.
UV Result Compensation
Species**
Select the UV species the analyzer is measuring to compensate the
concentration measured by the sensor. Options include all UV spe-
cies measured by the analyzer and the calculated Custom result.
Select Disabled if no UV species compensation is required.
Factor**
The factor used in the UV species compensation calculation.
Linearization Coefficient (Sensor1, Sensor3 screens)
Coefficients used in the linearization calculation applied to the con-
centration measurement from the sensor.
Cancel Calibration button
Aborts the sensor manual span calibration sequence initiated by
ManSpan button.
Display
During normal operation, displays the species being measured (top
line) and its real-time status (bottom line).
When an Auto-Setup is in progress, a message indicating the current
stage of the Auto-Setup is displayed on the top line (the concentration
value continues to be displayed on the bottom line).
During normal conditions, the text is Green; when there is a Warning
or Fault alarm present, the text is Red. If an alarm is active, see “Trou-
bleshooting and Diagnostics” in Chapter 6 for details about the alarm
and corrective action to take to reset the alarm.
