3-5 Option 881 WCDMA/HSDPA Signal Analyzer Verification
The tests in this section can be used to verify the functionality of the WCDMA/HSDPA Signal Analyzer mode of
the MS2720T Spectrum Master. The tests include:
• “WCDMA Absolute Power Accuracy Verification ”
• “WCDMA Occupied Bandwidth (OBW) Verification ” on page 3-17
• “WCDMA RF Channel Power Accuracy ” on page 3-19
• “HSDPA RF Channel Power Accuracy ” on page 3-20
• “Error Vector Magnitude (EVM) Verification ” on page 3-21
WCDMA Absolute Power Accuracy Verification
This test verifies the WCDMA absolute power accuracy in WCDMA/HSDPA Signal Analyzer Mode.

• Mini Circuits Model TIA10001R8 RF Power Amplifier
• Programmable Attenuator, Anritsu Model MN63A
• Circulator (refer to Table 1-3 on page 1-4)
• High Power Load, Aeroflex/Weinschel Model M1418
• Coupler (refer to Table 1-3)
• Power Meter, Anritsu Model ML2438A
• Power Sensor, Anritsu Model SC7400 (2)
• Anritsu 34NN50A 50 ohm Adapter (2)
• Anritsu 15NN50-1.5C RF Coaxial Cable
• BNC male to BNC male Coaxial Cable
Equipment Required for MS2720T with option 732 or 743
• All of the above, plus
• Anritsu 71693-R Ruggedized K(f) to N(f) Adapter
