5-10 Keypad Membrane and Main Keypad PCB Replacement
This procedure provides instructions for removing and replacing the keypad membrane and PCB.
1. Open the case as described in Section 5-3 “Opening the Spectrum Master Case”.
2. Remove the Main PCB assembly from the front panel as described in Section 5-6 “Main PCB Assembly
Replacement”.
3. Remove the LCD bracket assembly from the front panel as described in Section 5-9 “LCD Assembly
Replacement ”.
4. Remove the Rotary Encoder, Speaker, Touch Screen and Main Board connectors from the Keypad PCB.
Note that the Touch Screen connector has two locking tabs that must be pulled down (out) before
removing the connector from the Keypad PCB. See Figure 5-13 for Touch Screen cable connection.
Note The keypad PCB and membrane can be replaced without opening the Spectrum Master case.
