2.15.7 CMSIS-DAP FPGA debug
The USB 2.0 Full Speed ports on the MPS2 and MPS2+ FPGA Prototyping Boards support CMSIS-DAP
debug.
A workstation running a debugger connects to the CMSIS-DAP port which connects to the MCC. The
MCC implements CMSIS-DAP which runs over JTAG connection to the debug access port in the FPGA.
The availability of CMSIS-DAP depends on the design that you implement in the FPGA. The MPS2 and
MPS2+ FPGA Prototyping Boards require Motherboard Configuration Controller (MCC) software
version 2.0.1 or later to support CMSIS-DAP.
