2.4 Hot Keys
The five keys along the lower right side of the PFD function as either single-action Hot
Keys for frequently used commands or as Menu Keys when the Menu has been activated.
The Hot Key functions are accessible at any time, except when the Menu is active.
Each Hot Key provides instant access to the assigned command. Each press of a Hot Key
toggles between the settings that each key controls (see Table 2-6).
The Hot Key labels use the following color philosophy (see Figure 2-15).
• A green label and dark blue letters (also known as inverse green) indicates
that the Hot Key function is enabled
• A dark blue label and green letters indicates that the Hot Key function
is diabled
• A dark blue label and gray letters indicates that the Hot Key function is
not available
• A dark blue label without letters indicates that the Hot Key has no function
The 360/ARC Hot Key labels indicate which mode is currently active on the
Navigation Display.
