The preferred location of the Main Distribution Frame (MDF) is directly behind the Avaya
SCC1 Media Gateway stack or the Avaya MCC1 Media Gateway. ‘‘Typical 110A-Type
Terminal Blocks (SCC)’’ on page 148 shows a typical Avaya SCC1 Media Gateway installation
using 110A-type terminal blocks, and ‘‘Typical 110P-Type Terminal Blocks (MCC)’’ on page
149 shows a typical Avaya MCC1 Media Gateway installation using 900-pair 110P-type
terminal blocks.
