6.5 Error tables of ECG-Recorders Beam

Continuous red flashing of
the LED every 2 minutes
and a three-tone audible
signal
Error message Priority 1
Fatal Error
If the error still appears after
replacing the battery, please
send the device to your ven-
dor or directly to IEM GmbH
for testing and repair.
every 2 seconds red

2 minutes a 3-tone audible
signal.
Error message Priority 2
Main battery discharged
Replace battery.
every 5 seconds a 2-tone
red flashing of the LED,
every 5 minutes a 3-tone

Single-use electrodes in
the Loop mode are not
connected
Check that the cable
plug is securely attached
to the device port.
Check that the adhesive
electrodes are securely
attached to the patients
chest.
Only use single-use
electrodes of branded
manufacturers.
Plug the single-use elec-
trodes first onto the
cable and then posi-
tion the electrodes on
the patients chest. The
contact gel must not be
squeezed out as result
of too much pressure.

Memory is full
Assign the values to the
respective patient in the HMS
CS and delete the memory of
the ECG recorder Beam
®.
