Electrical Power Down
The following procedure is accomplished to remove all electrical power
from the airplane.
IRS selectors ..................................................................................... OFF
EMER LIGHTS switch..................................................................... OFF
PACK switches ................................................................................. OFF
Verify HYD PRESS SYS L+C+R message is displayed.
CAUTION: The Power Electronic Cooling System (PECS) requires
a cool-down period following pack and hydraulic EMP
shutdown to dissipate residual heat from the liquid
cooled LRUs. This prevents damaging the units and
degrading the coolant. Wait 10 minutes before
removing power with two external power (EP)
connected. Wait 22 minutes before removing power
with one external power (EP) connected.
APU selector and/or EXTERNAL POWER switch(es) ................... OFF
BATTERY switch ............................................................................. OFF
