APU Ground Control Fire Protection Panel
Illuminated (red) –
• an APU fire is detected, or
• a fire/overheat test is in progress
The APU automatically shuts down for a detected fire.
Push – discharges the APU fire extinguisher into the APU compartment.
Push (red) –
• shuts down the APU
• arms the APU fire extinguisher
Illuminated (amber) – the APU fire extinguisher is armed.
