PFD Navigation Performance Indications
Actual Navigation Performance (ANP) and Required Navigation Performance
(RNP) indications are displayed when:
• LNAV is armed or engaged, or
• VNAV is engaged or
• TO/GA roll mode is engaged
Displays the source of navigation performance for the navigation scales.
Indicates the navigation path relative to the airplane position:
• unfilled magenta triangle when parked at deflection limit
• filled magenta triangle when not parked at deflection limit
• displayed on lateral deviation scale whenever the scale is displayed
• displayed on vertical deviation scale only in descent phase of flight
• flashes for ten seconds if pointer migrates into bar area for five seconds or
ANP bars meet in the middle of the deviation scale
