Power supply
The HIPERFACE® encoder system requires a 12 V supply voltage. This sup‐
ply voltage is made available via the EC interface.

Observe that the third-party encoder used must be suited for the
voltage
available at the EC interface as the encoder supply volt‐
age.
Cable length
The
maximum possible cable length depends on several factors: See chapter
