6 Transport and storage
• Observe the transport instructions on the packaging.
• Transport weight: see delivery documents.
• Secure the product against tipping over!
• Always maintain ambient conditions during loading and transport, see page 107.
6.1 Transporting the product
WARNING
Suspended loads may fall!
Falling objects can result in severe injury (or even death).
Use only slings with suffi ciently high bearing loads
(for product weight, see delivery documents).
Make sure the lifting gear is correctly fastened before lifting the product!
Secure the product against tipping over when lifting!
Make sure that no one but the operator is in the danger zone during lifting and
lowering!
6.2 Storing the product
• Only set the product down on a fl at, stable surface.
• Protect the product from mechanical stress.
• Protect the product from environmental infl uences, such as dirt and moisture.
• Observe the ambient conditions, see page 107.
• Support the product so that there is no load on motors that are installed in
a suspended position.
