4. Fix the chain tensioner.
5. Open the chain at the
chain lock.
6. With the disassembly
tool

), remove so many
chain links that you
can close the chain as
closely at the tensioning
wheel as possible.

– For fl at top chain:
3 842 010 510
– For accumulation roller
chain: 3 842 010 511

) Chain lock:
– For fl at top chain:
3 842 535 333
– For accumulation roller
chain: 3 842 530 417
Please note:
• Remove the same
number of chain links
for both chains.
• Note in the maintenance
plan how many chain links
you have removed.
• Replace the chain if the
permissible elongation
of the chain (= 3% of
the original length) is
exceeded.
7. Close the chain.
8. Release the mount of
the chain tensioner.
Check the tension of
the chain.
9. Mount the outer halves
of the protective case.
10. Install the gear motor.
