4. With the disassembly
tool, remove so many
chain links that you
can close the chain as
closely at the tensioning
wheel as possible.
Please note:
• Remove the same
number of chain links for
both chains.
• Note in the maintenance
plan how many chain links
you have removed.
• Replace the chain if the
permissible elongation
of the chain (= 3% of
the original length) is
exceeded.
5. Grease the new chain
lock and close the chain.
6. Loosen the mount of the
chain tensioner.
Check the tension of
the chain.
7. Mount the outer halves
of the protective case.
