5.4 Reference Headband
Introduction
The Reference Headband (10 PCS) and Reference Unit For Headband is a reference device
used especially for cases where head fixation is not possible.
Before Using
Only use with Brainlab navigation systems.
If you calibrate instruments using the calibration point, refer to the software user guide.

Step
1. Orient the Reference Unit for Headband so that the arrow ② points upwards.
2. Remove the foil from the foam pad and stick the foam pad onto the patient’s forehead,
positioning the reference connector ① towards the camera.
