Before You Begin
Warning
Before performing navigation, the ultrasound probe must be calibrated using the
Ultrasound Registration Phantom.
Warning
Any movement of the probe independent from the adapter will cause inaccuracy during
navigation, endangering the patient.
Before attaching an adapter to the ultrasound probe, make sure you select the correct
adapter for your probe.
Ultrasound adapters are designed for specific ultrasound probes. If it is difficult to attach
the adapter on the probe check if it is damaged or the correct type. Avoid using heavy
force when attaching the adapter as it could damage the ultrasound probe.
