Warning symbols u Check that the warning symbols on
the instrument are legible.
u If they are dirty, clean them.
Weekly
Protection shields NOTICE!Do not use Acetone
u Wipe down the protection shields with
a damp cloth.
u Make sure that they click into place. If
not, replace the gliding elements. See
Chapter10.3 "Replacing the gliding
elements and magnets", page76
u If defective or damaged, replace
them.

Reflector foil for an-
alyte protection
NOTICE!Do not use any other deter-
gent
u Check the reflector foil for dirt.
u If dirty, wipe down the reflector foil
with a damp cloth.
u Make sure that there are no extrac-
tion beakers in the instrument.
u Switch the On/Off master switch to
On.
Weekly
Interface u Wipe down the display with a damp
cloth.
Monthly

u Open the knurled nut at the ball joint clamp.
