3 Press [Set].
4 Use [W] or [X] to select a directory dialing number (01 to 40).
5 Press [Set] twice.
6 Use the numeric keys to enter the fax/telephone number you want to
register (max. 40 digits, including spaces, pauses and tone).
NOTE
• For details on how to enter or delete numbers, see page 85.
• Press [Redial/Pause] to enter a pause.
• Press [ ] to enter a tone.
7 Press [Set] twice.
8 Use the numeric keys to enter a name for the directory dialing (max. 16
characters, including spaces).
NOTE
For details on how to enter or delete characters, see page 85.
9 Press [Set].
To continue registering directory dialing, repeat the procedure from step 4.
10 Press [Stop/Reset].
NOTE
For a list of the recipients you have registered, print the DIRECTORY DIAL list. (See page 90)
