weightofthemachinethatistowingthevehicle.Stoppingdistanceincreaseswithincreasingspeed
astheweightofthetowedloadincreases,especiallyonhillsandslopes.

sible,repairthemachineatthejobsite.
Ifyoucannotrepairthemachineatthejoblocation,andifyouhaveatransporttrailer,parkthetrailerascloseas
possibletothemachine.Usearigidtowbartotowthemachine.
Keepallunauthorizedpersonnelclearofthearea.
Makecertainthatthemachineusedformovingthedisabledmachinehasthebrakingcapacity,weight,andpowerto
controlbothmachines.
Thetowingmachinemustbeequippedwitharearshieldtoprotecttheoperatorifthecableortowbardisengages.
Donotusechainstotowthismachine.
Ifnecessary,youcanattachasecondmachinebehindthedisabledmachinetoassistwithadditionalcontrolorbrak-
ing.
Youmustopenthepressurereliefvalvesinordertobypassthehydrostaticpumps.Therearetwovalveslocatedon
eachhydrostaticpump.
NOTE:Youmustremovetheoormat,theoorpanel,andtiltthebackoftheoperator’sseatinordertoperformthis
procedure.
