Checktheengineairlterperiodicallyfordirtanddebrisbuildup.Replacetheengineprimaryandsecondaryairlter
every2000hoursoreachyear,whicheveroccursrst.
Prioroperation:
Keepallunauthorizedpersonnelclearofthearea.Parkthemachineonlevelground,inneutralwiththeparking
brakeapplied,andtheattachmentloweredtotheground.Makesurethatallresidualpressureisrelievedfromcircuits
beforebeginningmaintenance.
NOTICE:Replacetheprimaryelementifthelterwarninglampontheinstrumentclusterilluminatesortheaudible
alarmsounds.Ifthecautionwarningscontinueafterreplacingtheprimarylter,replacethesecondarylter.Under
normalconditions,youshouldreplacethesecondarylterafterthreeprimarylterreplacements.Replaceltersmore
oftenifconditionssowarrant.DONOTcleanthesecondarylter.Youmustreplacethesecondarylter.
1.Opentherightsidefrontaccesspanelandlocatethe
airlterhousing.
