Ignitionswitch
Theignitionswitchhasfourpositions:
Accessoryposition:Thisposition
energizesthedrivetraincontroller,
accessoryswitchesandinstrument
cluster.
Enginestop(OFFposition):Turnthekey
toSTOPinordertostoptheengine.After
theenginehasstopped,removethekey.
EngineON(ONposition):Turnthekey
clockwisetoONandcheckthewarning
lamps.Thisisthenormalpositionofthe
ignitionswitchwhentheengineisrunning.
Enginestart(startposition):Turnthe
keycompletelyclockwisetotheSTART
positiontoactuatethestartermotor.After
theenginestarts,releasethekey.The
switchisspringloadedandwillreturn
automaticallytotheONpositionwhen
released.
