Cleanthereservoirsuctionscreenswhenthehourmeterregisters2000hoursandevery2000hoursthereafter.Clean
moreoftenifconditionssorequire.Cleanthereservoirsuctionscreensinconjunctionwithreplacingthehydraulic/
hydrostaticdriveoilandlters.
Prioroperation:
Keepallunauthorizedpersonnelclearofthearea.Parkthemachineonlevelground,inneutralwiththeparking
brakeapplied,andtheattachmentloweredtotheground.Makesurethatallresidualpressureisrelievedfromcircuits
beforebeginningmaintenance.
1.Locatethesuctionscreensonthefrontofthehydraulic
oiltankbyopeningtherearaccessdoor.
2.Afterdrainingtheoilfromthehydraulicreservoir,
loosedtheT-bolthoseclampsandseparatethehy-
draulichosesfromthesuctionscreenassemblyhose
barbs.
3.Removethechargepumpsuctionscreen(1)theequip-
mentpumpsuctionscreen(2)andthefanpumpsuction
screen(3).
4.Cleanthescreensinsolventorreplace,ifnecessary.
5.Installcleanedornewscreens.Torquethefanpump
suctionscreenassembly(3)178-195N·m(131-
144lbft)Torquethechargepumpsuctionscreen
assemblies(1)to202-222N·m(149-164lbft).
Torquetheequipmenthydraulicsuctionscreen(2)to
236-260N·m(174-192lbft).

6.Slidethehosesontothebarbsandsecureinplacewith
theT-Bolthoseclamps.Orientthethreadsupwardand
torqueclampnut6.6-7.7N·m(58.4-68.2lbin).
