AROPSmaybeacabframeoratwo-postedor
four-postedstructureusedfortheprotectionofthe
operatortominimizethepossibilityofseriousinjury.
Themountingstructureandfastenersformingthe
mountingconnectionwiththemachinearepartofthe
ROPS.TheProtectiveStructureisaspecialsafety
componentofyourmachine.DONOTattachany
devicetotheprotectivestructureforpullingpurposes.
DONOTdrillholesintotheprotectivestructure.The
protectivestructureandinterconnectingcomponents
areacertiedsystem.Anydamage,re,corrosionor
modicationwillweakenthestructureandreduceyour
protection.Ifthisoccurs,theprotectivestructureMUST
bereplacedsothatitwillprovidethesameprotection
asanewprotectivestructure.Contactyourauthorized
dealerforprotectivestructureinspectionandreplace-
ment.TheprotectivestructureMUSTbereplaced.The
mountingorsuspensionfortheprotectivestructure,
operatorseatandsuspension,seatbeltsandmounting
componentsandwiringwithintheoperator’sprotective
systemMUSTbecarefullyinspectedfordamage.All
damagedpartsMUSTbereplaced.

ThemachinehasaROPSplateshowingthecertica-
tionoftheROPS,grossweight,approval,regulation,
andmodelnumberofthemachine.
CheckandinspecttheROPSstructureandtheseat
restraintsystemasrequired.
TheROPScerticationplateislocatedinsidetheleft
rearaccesscompartment.
