Dozerbladepitchadjustment
1.Raisethedozerblade100mm(3.9in).
2.Releasethedozerbladecontrollever,andshutthe
engineoff.
3.Removetheignitionkey,andsettheparkingbrakes.
4.Loosentheretainingboltfromtheslottedkeywayon
thestrut.
5.Useabartoadjustthestrutclockwiseorcounter-clock-
wiseuntilthedesiredpitchangleisreached,stopping
at1/2–turnincrements.
6.Replacetheretainingboltattheslottedkeyway.

Rearwardpositionbladepitchedrearward
Whenthetopofthedozerbladepitchissettotherear-
wardposition,thebladewillbeabletopushalarger
load.Thebladewillstayontopinsoftground.The
bladewillnotdigintotheground.Usetherearward
pitchpositionfornegrading.
Forwardpositionbladepitchedforward
Whenthetopofthedozerbladepitchissettothefor-
wardposition,theloadslidesoffofbladeascrawler
travelsinreverse.Thebladewilldigintohardground.
Therewillbelessloadspillageoverthetopoftheblade.
