Stubble too long.
Drive belt failure.
Soil buildup on front of cutter bar.
Excessive power consumption.
Incorrect angle on cutter bar.
Ground speed too fast.
Worn or damaged knives.
Low PTO speed.
Incorrect alignment or tension.
Very wet crop conditions.
Crop wrappage on end drum and
swathboard.
Change cutter bar angle.
Reduce ground speed.
Replace knives.
Run PTO at 540 RPM (do not over-
spend).
Check sheave alignment and belt
tension.
Adjust main frame and cutter bar
flotation. Reduce cutter bar angle.
Install high stubble kit.
Remove swathboard.
