In case we are working with rounding due to lack of coins, we have to define how we want to
apply the rounding in changes and payments:
We can define one of the three options following:
• Always pay the original amount
• Always pay the rounded amount
• Pay the rounded amount when the original number of pieces exceeds the number of
pieces of rounded amount in ___ pieces.
This third option is which is defined by default and with a value of 5. Before dispensing
a change or payment, CashDro3 consults if applying a rounding decreases the
number of pieces to return. If the decrease of number of pieces due the rounding is
equal or superior to configured value, CashDro3 will apply rounding.
6.3.3.2 Use of 0,01 € coins (only EURO)
Only if CashDro3 works with EURO and it has a Coin Device that can manage this coin, it is
possible to determine whether only using the 1 cent in the changes that ends in “xx,01 €” or
in “xx,03 €” or every time it is convenient.
This option can be configured in menu option “Configuration-General Parameters-
Advanced”.
